How can I get things done more easily?
I have a question for you: How are you so fast at everything?! It seems like you have so many great systems set up in your business for design, organization, and getting things done. How do you make it all look so easy? I would love to know your secrets so that I can be more efficient in my business too, particularly when it comes to the annoying tasks that I don’t *want* to do. How can I make things work a little more smoothly and easily?

Aiming for Efficiency
Stop starting from scratch.
When it comes to annoying work we don’t want to do, we have a few choices.
We can avoid it at all costs…sometimes until the very last second. When we procrastinate, we certainly get work done “faster” by rushing it at the end, but we usually feel stressed the entire time we’re putting it off. No bueno.
Alternatively, we could outsource the task to someone else who may enjoy that kind of work more than we do. This option is attractive, but may not always be available either because of your budget constraints or because the work is specialized to your expertise.
The third option is to make the work easier on ourselves. We can find ways to complete our tasks faster and more efficiently, so that we can get more done and have a better time doing it. No surprise that this is my favourite option! When we focus on making our processes more efficient, we keep the business strong, nimble and resilient.

When it comes to work, the way we get things done really matters. We can do it the easy way, or we can do it the hard way. I don’t know about you, but I’d always choose the easy way! By implementing some of these ideas into your own business, you can choose the easy way too.
